About The Position
Contingency Staffing has a Payroll and Benefits opportunity open with their Manufacturing client in Upstate New York. This position supports the weekly payroll for 600 plus employees in a union environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years payroll and benefits experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred

- Union experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the accurate and timely processing of a weekly payroll
- Data entry, timekeeping and managing deductions
- Maintaining and updating employee records to ensure the accuracy for personal information and salary changes
- Generating payroll-related reports for management and audit purposes
- Processing employee enrollments changes and terminations for benefit programs
- Educating employees about FSA & HSA plan benefits, contribution limits, and eligible expenses
- Assisting employees with 401K enrollment and account management
