In this role, you’ll help ensure our associates are paid accurately, supported through competitive benefits programs, and experience seamless, reliable service behind the scenes. You’ll play a key role in supporting payroll and benefits across both Canada and the United States, while also contributing to the ongoing evolution of our systems and processes as we scale. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in payroll and benefits administration
  • Experience supporting both Canadian and U.S. payroll (strongly preferred)
  • Solid understanding of Canadian payroll legislation (U.S. exposure is an asset)
  • Experience with Payworks, BambooHR, or similar systems
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • A service-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Nice To Haves

  • PCP designation (or in progress) is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Process and support payroll across Canada and the United States (Payworks and BambooHR)
  • Ensure payroll is accurate, timely, and compliant with all applicable legislation
  • Respond to payroll inquiries with a high level of care and service
  • Support reporting, audits, and reconciliations
  • Administer Canadian and U.S. benefits and retirement savings programs
  • Support programs such as RRSP, DPSP, and U.S. IRA and 401(k)-style plans
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for benefits-related questions
  • Partner with external vendors and brokers to maintain and enhance offerings
  • Maintain and optimize payroll and HR systems
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and accuracy
  • Support system integration and consistency across entities, including acquisitions
  • Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and employment standards in Canada and the U.S.
  • Support year-end processes (T4s, W-2s)
  • Maintain accurate, confidential employee records
