About The Position

As our Human Resources Generalist – Payroll & Benefits Specialist, you are the heartbeat of our internal operations. You will ensure that our nationwide team—the owners of this company—are supported, informed, and paid with absolute precision. You aren’t just "processing data"; you are a strategic problem-solver managing our HRIS (ADP Workforce Now), driving our wellness initiatives, and acting as a trusted advocate for our employees across the country.

Requirements

  • Solid background in multi-state payroll and benefits administration (ADP Workforce Now experience is a major plus).
  • Advanced proficiency in HRIS systems and Excel for data reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to interact confidently with everyone from front-line employees to executive leadership.
  • A "measure twice, cut once" mentality with a documented history of meeting strict deadlines.
  • A self-starter who sees a process that could be better and takes the initiative to fix it.

Nice To Haves

  • ADP Workforce Now experience is a major plus

Responsibilities

  • Execute high-accuracy, semi-monthly payroll for a nationwide workforce, including commissions and quarterly incentives.
  • Maintain all employee records, from onboarding workflows to status changes and terminations.
  • Train new hires and supervisors on time-keeping and self-service features.
  • Run queries and interpret HR data to ensure we are compliant and efficient.
  • Create articles, track progress, and use your creativity to drive interest in company-wide health initiatives.
  • Assist with broker reviews, plan design, and the drafting of high-impact benefit communications.
  • Help team members navigate claim issues and stay current on disability and LOA administration.
  • Support ACA compliance, census data reporting, and internal procedure updates.
  • Provide expert advice on company policies and governmental regulations (FMLA, FLSA, etc.).
  • Maintain the company Intranet with engaging content that keeps our 43+ offices connected.
