This role is responsible for processing regular payrolls for salaried employees, handling monthly and quarterly payroll items, and ensuring compliance with certified payrolls. The specialist will also manage 401k deferrals, loan deductions, and prepare various payroll-related files. Additionally, the position involves facilitating the Payroll Budget Process and managing LA Tax incentives and other specific town/parish incentives. On the benefits side, the role administers the daily and annual operations of the 401(k) plan and is responsible for the preparation of Form 5500 for 401(k) and cafeteria plans. Other duties include reviewing and approving offer letters, managing FCRA compliance, EEO-1 reporting, and maintaining workers' compensation case files and audits. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
