About The Position

As a Payroll & Benefits Administrator at FFUN Group, you'll play a key role in supporting our employees by processing payroll, administering benefits, maintaining employee records, and helping ensure a positive employee experience. We're looking for someone who loves details, thrives on deadlines, and takes pride in getting things right. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, highly confidential, and able to balance multiple priorities while delivering exceptional service. Working closely with Payroll, Human Resources, and Accounting, you'll help keep our people programs running smoothly and our employees supported.

Requirements

  • Payroll experience is preferred
  • PCP designation or working toward it is considered an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • A positive attitude and willingness to jump in where needed

Responsibilities

  • Process full-cycle payroll for multiple FFUN Group companies, including salaried, hourly, commissioned, and incentive-based employees.
  • Prepare, validate, and complete payroll accurately and on schedule for each pay period.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, company policies, internal controls, and industry requirements.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts, investigate discrepancies, and prepare payroll-related journal entries and reports.
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, deductions, and benefit updates.
  • Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and leaders while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Support benefit administration, payroll audits, and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare year-end payroll activities, including T4 processing, payroll reconciliations, and statutory reporting.
  • Complete CRA remittances and account reconciliations accurately and within required deadlines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, enhance efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
