About The Position

This position requires working knowledge in the areas of Payroll and Benefits including planning, directing, and coordinating payroll and benefits activities of a General Beverage Sales Company. Duties include employee compensation issues, processing payroll, administering benefits program, recruitment, and regulatory compliance.

  • Administer employee benefit programs to include retirement, medical, life, dental, long-term disability, workers’ compensation, flexible spending, and unemployment compensation
  • Assure the benefit programs are in compliance with corporate policies and procedures
  • Help coordinate and manage internal recruitment efforts
  • Assure the interview and selection process is handled in accordance with federal and state hiring laws and regulations
  • Participate in professional development activities to keep current with employment law changes and requirements

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for payroll activity including entering hours and earnings, employee master file maintenance, and maintaining benefit deductions.
  • Check, balance, and process payroll locations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for all Human Resources questions and concerns, triaging inquiries and directing them to the appropriate individual or department as needed.
