Key position functions: Process timekeeping and payroll activities in an accurate and timely manner. Assist with and/or complete a variety of administrative activities in support of payroll processing and department functions. Maintain high proficiency knowledge of payroll and timekeeping systems. Provide strong customer service focus to peers, employees and management. Process new hires, terminations, transfers, and changes within the payroll system. Maintain employee files and information. Initiate probation notices. Facilitate RRSP signups. Track mileage as per CRA guidelines. Maintain a service oriented approach to working with colleagues and when responding to employee inquiries. Complete project work as assigned.
