About The Position

The Payment Reimbursement Analyst is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of vendor invoice review, reconciliation, and sending for payment, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with contractual and regulatory standards. This role serves as a liaison between vendors, internal departments, and sponsors to resolve billing discrepancies, support reimbursement workflows, and maintain financial integrity across the vendor payment lifecycle. This is a remote position based in the US; relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available.

Requirements

Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred; experience may be substituted for education.
Minimum 3 years' professional expertise in interpreting and analyzing complex contractual language and budgets.
Advanced research and analytical techniques for financial data evaluation.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced), and other financial systems.

Responsibilities

Facilitate the contracting for SCRI vendors utilized by SCRI managed sites
Review, reconcile and process SCRI vendor invoices (containing medical terminology, drug names and CPT codes) for accurate and timely payment
Promptly review all HCFA/UB vendor claim forms for payment and work with high volume vendors to transition to a data file submission and an appropriate cadence
Review and understand Vendor Contracts, for accurate invoice payment and effective conversations with vendors regarding their payment expectations
Review and understand Coverage Analysis documents for determinations relating to Research vs. Standard of Care and how that impacts reimbursement
Other duties as assigned
