About The Position

The Payment Processor is responsible for submitting highly accurate payments to our clients on a daily basis, and other related duties. Harris & Harris has over 50 years of experience in customer care and revenue recovery, specializing in the utilities, government, and healthcare markets. Requirements

• Exemplary skills with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience in payment processing, data analysis, or related role
• Strong analytical, data-driven skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to see through data and analyze it to find conclusions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to present findings or translate data into an understandable document or presentation
• Strong problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CUBS system a plus

Responsibilities

• Process 1st and 3rd party collections payments
• Process in house payments and payments received by mail
• Post payments in a timely manner and with complete accuracy
• NSF Processing
• Returning payments and notating accounts
• Data entry
• Copying and filing, as needed, on a daily basis
