Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
No experience required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
Understand and comply with NACHA rules and guidelines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience in payment operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

Process various payment types, including ACH and RTP, according to established procedures.
Perform daily reconciliations and assist in identifying discrepancies.
Support resolution of payment issues and failed transactions.
Respond to internal inquiries about payment status and procedures.
Assist in identifying potential fraud or risk and escalate as needed.
Maintain compliance with NACHA rules, Regulation E, and internal policies.
Participate in team meetings and cross-functional collaboration.
Understand and comply with applicable regulations, including the Community Reinvestment Act, Bank Secrecy Act, and Fair Credit Reporting Act.
