Tapcheck is looking for a Payments Operations Associate to join our growing team in Plano, TX. In this role, you'll sit at the intersection of customer support and financial operations - helping ensure payment transactions are accurate, clients are supported, and our internal processes run smoothly. Requirements

• Worked in financial services, operations, or a related field for 1–2 years
• Applied strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a professional setting
• Used Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools to manage and analyze information
• Operated independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Demonstrated interest in financial operations, payments, or payroll processes

Nice To Haves

• Earned a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as finance, accounting, or business
• Gained exposure to payroll or payment systems in a prior role

Responsibilities

• Respond to client questions and help resolve basic support issues
• Assist with daily payroll checks to ensure information is accurate
• Help process refunds, returns, and financial transactions
• Identify and flag discrepancies for further review
• Support collection efforts and follow up on outstanding items
• Work with internal teams and partners to track and manage accounts receivable aging
• Help document processes and keep records up to date
• Assist in monitoring system performance and reporting issues
• Follow company policies and ensure compliance with regulations
• Support team projects aimed at improving operations
