About The Position

The Payment Resolution Specialist delivers consistent, member-focused experience while managing Visa debit and credit card disputes on behalf of the credit union. This role is responsible for reviewing dispute requests for accuracy and chargeback rights, researching transaction activity, submitting and tracking disputes through the card processor portal, maintaining complete documentation, and processing provisional and final account adjustments.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Knowledge of credit union products, services, and policies
  • Knowledge of Federal regulations governing credit union operation and activities
  • Ability to perform minor math calculations
  • Ability to keep accurate and efficient files
  • Ability to pay attention to details; be proficient and precise
  • Ability to organize time effectively
  • Ability to be flexible and able to handle more than one task at a time
  • Ability to calmly and effectively deal with irate members
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment when making decisions
