Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 1 year of collection experience.
Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
Excellent customer service and phone skills.
Strong written communication skills.
Detail-oriented and self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to problem-solve and adapt to change.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or vocational school training preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of collections experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Make outbound collection calls to past due customers to collect payments and discuss account activity.
Maintain and notate all appropriate information and documentation on customers account status.
Work with third party collections agencies.
Meet bi-weekly and month-end deadlines.
Work with internal departments to resolve payment or accounting issues.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
