About The Position

Hello! Thank you for applying to HHS, LLC We are looking for a seasoned Patient Escort to join our team at Unity Hospital. Wage: $17.50/hr All Shifts (Weekends Mandatory) Day/Evening/Night shifts available Here is the address below: Location: Unity Hospital, 1555 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY INSTRUCTIONS WHEN YOU ARRIVE: Please use the main entrance, by parking lot area G, and then go to the front desk! We will meet by the coffee shop. Dress code: No jeans/Shirts with holes, no headphones, etc. Please bring ID and SSN.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
• CPR certified (American Heart Association), or required to obtain certification with HHS
• GED or high school diploma

Nice To Haves

• Patient transportation experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, healthcare, patient care, equipment maintenance)

Responsibilities

• Transport patients in wheelchairs, hospital beds, or on stretchers
• Work as a team with nursing, medical staff, and other hospital departments to achieve excellent patient satisfaction
• Practice cooperation, patience, excellent communication, and a willingness to work as a team
• Clean and disinfect patient transport equipment to ensure patient safety
• Follow all HHS and regulatory procedures and best practices
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
