About The Position
Responsible for transporting patients and miscellaneous supplies throughout the hospital. Equipment is to be kept clean and maintained. Shift: rotating daylight shifts
Requirements
- Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
- Act 33/73 clearances
- On the job training will be provided.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Friends & Family CPR
- Some experience working with patients and transport.
Responsibilities
- Transporting patients and miscellaneous supplies throughout the hospital.
- Keeping equipment clean and maintained.
- Safely accessing, transporting, and handling sharps, such as needles, suture kits, lancets, syringes, etc.
- Safely transporting a single patient labeled oral contrast to appropriate nursing units.
