About The Position
Join the Patient Transport Team at St Marys Medical Center. The Patient Transporter is responsible for safely performing mechanically appropriate patient lifts and communicating any special needs encountered before, during, or after a lift, especially potential safety issues. The role also assists with transporting patients of all ages, supplies, and equipment, and performs related duties as required.
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, or ability to become certified within one month of hire.
Responsibilities
- Safely perform mechanically appropriate patient lifts.
- Communicate special needs encountered before, during, or after patient lifts, particularly potential safety issues.
- Assist with transporting patients of all ages, supplies, and equipment.
- Perform related duties as required.
