About The Position

HHS is hiring a friendly, compassionate team player to transport patients and patient equipment throughout Christus Spohn Hospital Shoreline. The role supports a safe and comfortable healing environment by providing excellent service to every patient. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with day, evening, and night shifts. The wage is $15 per hour. Applicants must pass a background check and drug screen and provide proof of employment eligibility in the United States. Healthcare facilities may require employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption. HHS is a private, family-owned business founded in 1975. It provides housekeeping, food, and facility management services to nearly 1,000 customers across six industries and is committed to workplace diversity and inclusion.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
Maintain good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and wear a uniform.
Hold American Heart Association CPR certification, or obtain certification through HHS.
Have a GED or high school diploma.
Pass a background check and drug screen and provide proof of employment eligibility in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Patient transportation experience; experience in cleaning, environmental services, custodial or janitorial work, healthcare, patient care, or equipment maintenance is preferred.
Veterans and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Transport patients in wheelchairs, hospital beds, or on stretchers.
Work with nursing, medical staff, and other hospital departments to support excellent patient satisfaction.
Demonstrate cooperation, patience, excellent communication, and teamwork.
Clean and disinfect patient transport equipment to ensure patient safety.
Follow HHS and regulatory procedures and best practices.
Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.
