About The Position
The Gardens at Orangeville is hiring a part-time Patient Transport Driver to help residents safely travel to medical appointments, dialysis, and other destinations. The driver provides friendly, respectful assistance, including helping residents enter and exit the vehicle and escorting them to appointments when needed. The role also helps coordinate and schedule resident transportation needs. The schedule requires weekend availability. Pay is up to $16 per hour.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Dependable, responsible, and safety-focused.
- Compassionate approach when working with seniors and residents.
- Must be able to work weekends.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport residents to and from scheduled appointments.
- Assist residents with safely entering and exiting the vehicle.
- Escort residents to and from appointments when needed.
- Help coordinate and schedule resident transportation needs.
- Provide professional, respectful, and compassionate service to residents.
