The Patient Svcs Rep is responsible for providing efficient, high-quality service to patients. This includes greeting and registering patients, coordinating appointments, answering telephone lines, distributing communications, resolving patient questions regarding referrals, billing, and services, scheduling future appointments and requisitions, notifying patient care areas of patient arrivals, and identifying and verifying insurance eligibility. The role also involves ensuring accurate entry of billing information at the time of service and maintaining the confidentiality and availability of patient medical records.
