About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor of Collections and Cashiering, the Business Svcs Rep II exercises primary responsibility for processing refunds and assisting cashiers with payments, allowances, and other duties. All activities must be consistent with the requirements of the government, accrediting agencies, and the overall goals of the HMNH.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School graduate or GED equivalent
  • One to two (1-2) years’ experience in a hospital and/or medical environment required
  • Computer experience
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Ability to be a self-starter
  • Demonstrate a pleasant voice and good public relations while performing duties
  • HMO/PPO knowledge required
  • Basic bookkeeping knowledge
