About The Position

Patient Surgical & Financial Coordinator serves as a key member of the bariatric surgery team. They are responsible for coordinating a panel of bariatric surgery patients and the logistics of their pre-surgery work-up, which typically spans between a two to eight-month period. They serve as the key point of contact for patients, keeping them on track and informed at every step along the way to surgery.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED equivalent required
• Minimum of two (2) year work experience in a medical office setting required
• Experience with medical terminology
• Healthcare insurance or related experience strongly preferred
• Experience with EPIC desirable
• Experience in customer service roles preferred

Nice To Haves

• Related college coursework and or training preferred
• Two-year or four-year college degree preferred
