About The Position

The Patient Support Nurse (CMA/LPN) works in the Clinic department. This role involves rooming patients and performing various tasks such as administering injections, phone communication, patient education, taking vital signs, documenting in charts, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and managing supplies. The position may also require assisting a provider with procedures and treatments as needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse program
• Certified by the American Association of Medical Assistants or obtain an unrestricted Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurse license
• Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively and professionally with clients of all ages, co-workers, practitioners and administration
• Professional telephone etiquette
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work well within a team
• Good organizational skills
• Detail oriented
• Good time management skills
• Computer skills and knowledge of EMR

Nice To Haves

• Previous clinic nursing experience preferred
