About The Position

The Patient Support Representative Lead is a subject matter expert and point of contact for the call center. Conducts training of new employees. Handles escalated issues. Provides guidance and direction to staff concerning processes and procedures. Additionally, the Lead will receive incoming phone calls to schedule appointments, resolve patient inquiries, work referrals, and process pre-authorizations. The Lead will be a subject expert and provide support to handle all functions within the call center.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency
  • 3 years healthcare experience
  • Ability to type 30WPM
  • Proficient with computers and related applications.
  • Above Average Verbal and Written communication skills
  • Correspondence/Reports skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Design skills
  • Medical Terminology knowledge
  • MS Word proficiency
  • MS Excel proficiency
  • 1-2 years prior Supervisory Experience in healthcare or call center.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
