About The Position

Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin as a Patient Scheduling Representative in Internal Medicine. This role is crucial for ensuring patients receive timely and appropriate care. You will be responsible for scheduling appointments via phone, in-person, or electronic correspondence, taking incoming calls from patients and their families, making outgoing calls to schedule appointments, and coordinating with clinic staff.

Requirements

• Minimum – High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum – Six (6) months of previous experience in an office or customer service environment.

Nice To Haves

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or other related field.
• Previous experience working in healthcare.
• Previous experience scheduling of patients.
• Previous experience answering phones and greeting clients in person.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments via phone, in-person or electronic correspondence.
• Take incoming phone calls from patients and their families to assist them with their appointment scheduling needs.
• Make outgoing phone calls to patients to schedule their appointments.
• Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure that patients receive appropriate care in a timely manner.

Benefits

• Pay starts at $19.59 per hour, work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay.
