The Patient Support Assistant (PSA) in OBGYN at Highland Park will be responsible for handling all incoming telephone calls from patients, physicians, and other departments, ensuring adherence to NorthShore telephone customer service standards and practice protocols. This role involves documenting in Epic telephone encounters, scheduling and registering patients using Epic, obtaining prior authorization for procedures, reviewing provider templates, and providing other administrative support as directed by physicians and the Practice Manager. The position is full-time, with specific hours from Monday to Thursday 6:30 am - 5 pm, Friday 6:30 am - 4 pm, and rotating Saturdays from 8 am to 12:30 pm. Occasional travel to other sites may be required based on department needs.
