The Patient Support Assistant (PSA) in Family Medicine is responsible for handling incoming telephone calls from patients, physicians, and other departments, documenting in Epic telephone encounters, and scheduling/registering patients. This role also involves obtaining prior authorization for procedures, reviewing provider templates, and providing administrative support under the direction of physicians and the Practice Manager. The position is full-time and requires flexibility in hours, including some travel to other locations and rotating weekend shifts.
