The Patient Support Assistant (PSA) will be responsible for answering incoming telephone calls from patients, physicians, and other departments, handling each appropriately according to NorthShore telephone customer service standards and practice protocols, including documenting in Epic telephone encounters. The PSA will utilize Epic to schedule and register new, established, and post-procedure patients, obtain prior authorization for procedures, review provider templates, and provide other administrative support under the direction of the Physicians and Practice Manager. This role is part-time, located in Highland Park, IL, with specific hours from Monday - Thursday 6:30 am - 5 pm, Fri 6:30 am - 4 pm, and rotating Saturdays 8 am – 12:30 pm. Travel to other sites may be required based on department needs.
