About The Position
A skilled nursing facility is seeking a compassionate Patient/Resident Sitter to observe and monitor residents, spend time with them, and help provide a unique care experience. The sitter reports any changes in a resident’s condition to a supervisor as soon as possible and follows company policies and legal requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate well with staff.
Responsibilities
- Observe and monitor patients/residents throughout the shift.
- Attend doctor appointments with patients/residents when needed.
- Support patients/residents who need help moving or eating.
- Report changes in patients’/residents’ conditions to a supervising nurse.
- Adhere to company policies and legal requirements.
