About The Position
Under direct supervision and according to established procedures, the Patient Sitter observes and monitors assigned patients’ behavior. The role provides safety interventions and basic self-care needs as needed, while attending to patients’ specific behavioral needs. The Patient Sitter accompanies patients to clinical studies, documents pertinent observation data, and notifies appropriate nursing personnel when necessary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a formal CPR course is desirable.
