PSS / Patient Services Specialist - UW Medicine Primary Care at Factoria
About The Position
UW Medicine Primary Care at Factoria has an outstanding opportunity for a Patient Services Specialist 2. This is a full-time, 100% FTE (40 hours per week) position with a work schedule of Monday-Thursday 9-5:30 and Friday 8-4:30, falling under the Day Shift. The clinic is conveniently located just off of I-90 in Bellevue and offers a wide range of healthcare services including family medicine with obstetrics, internal medicine, behavioral health, travel medicine, acupuncture, gynecology, nutrition services, podiatry services, and an on-site lab. Providers speak a variety of languages. This position offers convenience near public transportation, the chance to make a difference for patients and employees, and opportunities for career growth.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent
- One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience OR An equivalent combination of education/experience
Responsibilities
- Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging
- Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments
- Obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information
- Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery
