About The Position
Harborview - Radiology Services has an outstanding opportunity for a Patient Services Specialist (job profile: Patient Services Specialist 3). This position is full-time, working 100% FTE, Mondays through Fridays, with shifts from 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm. The role is on-site and not eligible for telework. Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent
- Two years Patient Services Specialist 2 experience OR equivalent combination of education/experience
- Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration
Responsibilities
- Schedule patients focusing on patient safety and reducing the likelihood of medical health errors
- Participate in process improvement projects
- Audit online tickets, scheduling appointments for accuracy of order placement, referral completion and resource selection
- Act as a subject expert for the department scheduling model, think critically, and troubleshoot Epic errors for the team
- Function proficiently within the team to assist with training of new staff and act as go team resource
- Support team Lead in day-to-day operational goals
- Respond to patient's need and concerns as appropriate maintaining Patient First mentality
