About The Position

Valley View's Spine Center is seeking an energetic, full-time, patient-focused Patient Services Specialist to be the first contact for our patients in the front office! The Patient Service Specialist also assists with all billing and collection efforts as necessary and in a timely manner. Patient care background preferred.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Clerical skills: typing, filing, scheduling, computer, phone
Exceptional customer service skills required
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Receptionist/clerical experience required
Eligible to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Patient care background preferred
Experience in a clinical setting highly preferred

Responsibilities

Providing patients and physicians with professional and friendly reception duties
Organizing patient flow
Keeping physicians and patients on schedule
Maintaining patient files and accounts in a professionally accurate manner
Handling phone calls for the office manager, physicians, and nurses appropriately
Assisting with all billing and collection efforts as necessary and in a timely manner
