About The Position
UW Medicine Montlake- Heart Institute Clinic has an outstanding opportunity for a Patient Services Specialist 2. This role provides staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging. The specialist will also be responsible for scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments and obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information. This position partners with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent AND One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience OR An equivalent combination of education/experience
Responsibilities
- Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging
- Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments
- Obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information
- Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery
