About The Position

MOTION PT Group, a member of the Confluent Health Family, is seeking a Patient Services Representative to manage front desk operations. This role involves patient check-in/out, appointment scheduling, referral coordination, insurance verification, authorization processing, payment collection, and maintaining accurate patient records within the EMR system. The representative will also handle phone calls, assist patients, and ensure HIPAA compliance, contributing to a welcoming and professional healthcare experience.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Basic office and customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations, including patient check-in/out, appointment scheduling, and referral coordination, while delivering exceptional customer service
  • Verify insurance, process authorizations, and collect payments to ensure smooth billing and patient access to care
  • Maintain accurate patient records by registering new patients, updating information in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, and preparing necessary documents
  • Answer phone calls, assist patients, and uphold HIPAA compliance, ensuring a welcoming and professional healthcare experience
