Nice To Haves

  • Six months to one year experience as medical secretary/receptionist preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Answering phones
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Greeting patients upon arrival
  • Gathering all personal data and insurance information
  • Entering patient appointments, demographic information and visit/charge data into the office scheduling and billing system
  • Performing check in and check out office functions
  • Assisting with other office duties as requested
  • Preparing referrals for HMO patients
  • Collecting fees for services rendered
  • Completing the end of the day deposit records
  • Supporting clinical services provided in office
  • May perform basic health screening services with documented competencies
