About The Position

The Patient Services Advocate III functions as an AltaMed ambassador, welcoming patients and attending to their needs. The role helps create a positive front-office experience by managing expectations and demonstrating compassion and respect. As a member of the health care team, the Lead supports patient-focused care through strong communication and problem-solving skills. The Lead also helps achieve department goals by mentoring and training the PSA team and providing support and guidance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a customer service agent, greeter, or receptionist.
• At least 6 months of experience as a PSA or in an equivalent health care role.
• Valid BLS certification or higher, following American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of experience as a customer service agent, greeter, or receptionist preferred.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese strongly preferred.
