About The Position

The Patient Services Advocate III functions as an AltaMed ambassador, welcoming patients and attending to their needs while creating a positive front-office experience. The role manages patient expectations while demonstrating compassion and respect. As a member of the health care team, the Lead supports the delivery of patient-focused care through excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The position also helps achieve department goals and objectives by mentoring and training the Patient Services Advocate team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a customer service agent, greeter, or receptionist.
• At least 6 months of experience as a Patient Services Advocate or in an equivalent health care role.
• Valid BLS certification or higher, following American Heart Association or American Red Cross guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of experience as a customer service agent, greeter, or receptionist.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese.
