About The Position
Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Full Time Patient Service Specialist (PSS) for a 32-hour position in Flower Mound, TX. The hours are Monday-Thursday from 10 am to 7 pm, with flexibility required for hours and potential coverage at surrounding clinics. This entry-level position offers a starting salary of $18 - $25 per hour, depending on experience and internal equity. The ideal candidate will be organized, adaptable, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively. This role involves providing outstanding customer service and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. Responsibilities include processing referrals, scheduling patients, completing the intake process, data entry, insurance verification, obtaining authorizations, reviewing benefits with patients, collecting copays, managing patient arrivals and scheduling, and generating billing and closing reports.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
