The Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, where this role is situated, is a leader in immunotherapy and cellular therapy for cancer, performing a high volume of stem cell transplants nationally. These cellular therapies, including stem cell transplantation, are crucial for treating blood cancers and other life-threatening diseases by restoring the body's ability to grow healthy blood cells.
