About The Position

Granger Medical Clinic is seeking a friendly, pleasant, and professional Patient Service Representative to join their Urgent Care team in West Jordan. This full-time role involves assisting at the front desk as a medical receptionist, handling appointment scheduling, and managing patient check-ins and check-outs. The position is an opportunity for individuals looking to advance in the medical field, and prior experience as a medical receptionist, front office staff, or patient service representative is considered a valuable asset.

Requirements

Excellent customer service, communication, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Good Typing / keyboarding skills is imperative.
Professionalism and reliability are key for this position!
Must be a team player and enjoy working with people.
Must be able to read, understand and communicate in English.
High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
1 year Medical Front Office experience

Nice To Haves

Additional languages helpful.
2 years of Medical Receptionist or Patient Service Rep experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet patients presenting for medical or other services in a courteous manner.
Answer telephones in a professional manner.
Scheduling appointments in accordant with established procedures.
Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with physicians, clinic staff and patients regarding their appointment scheduling and other needs.
Record all demographic information necessary to contact patient and/or bill insurance carrier for services provided.
Other duties as assigned.
