About The Position

The Patient Services Representative (PSR) is an excellent opportunity at MultiCare to support our Lab Services. In this role, you will be responsible for patient registration and order entry, phlebotomy, and specimen processing. You may also be responsible for specimen pick-up in offices, report sorting and delivery, supply delivery, and other tasks related to the operation of the specific location. This position will require availability to float to all of our locations listed below. Locations Include: Tacoma, Poulsbo, Federal Way, Olympia, Gig Harbor, Kent, Sumner, Bonney Lake, Auburn, Frederickson, Spanaway, Puyallup, Eatonville and Lakewood. This position is also eligible to receive the float premium along with mileage reimbursement.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Current Medical Assistant-Certified, Medical Assistant-Phlebotomy Certification, or Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist eligible - must complete the training and submit application within 90 days of hire
• Completion of phlebotomy course or training preferred
• Phlebotomy experience preferred
• Previous experience dealing with the public preferred
