The Patient Service Representative will be responsible for patient registration, collecting current and overdue service charges, printing receipts, securing a daily cash box, and reconciling daily charges and receipts. This role also involves answering phones, taking and forwarding messages, and scheduling appointments. The position requires the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, verify patient insurance information, use a multi-line phone system, and travel to other clinics to cover shifts as needed. The representative will also operate office equipment such as fax machines, printers, and scanners, and agree to follow Waco Family Medicine policies and procedures.
