About The Position
The Patient Service Representative (PSR) is the first point of contact with patients, family members, and caregivers in the office. The PSR Float represents Franciscan Physician Network through face-to-face, phone, and electronic communication to provide information, direction, and support to internal and external customers. This position collaborates with providers, management, and clinical staff to coordinate patient schedules and provide other administrative support. The role requires compassionately engaging in conversation with patients on their responsibilities for Copayment, Prepayment, and Outstanding Balances. Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED - Required
- 1 year Customer Service - Required

Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls; respond to inquiries, schedule appointments or direct caller to appropriate staff for assistance
- Work within an electronic medical records system
- Collect patient payments; applies payments and adjustments to patient accounts
- Balance daily encounter forms and cash drawers
- Additional daily administrative tasks based on practice specialty
