About The Position

Lumexa Imaging is seeking a full-time Patient Service Representative, a customer service-oriented professional for our medical front office position in Round Rock, TX. There are two shifts available: Monday-Friday 11am-8pm (with a shift differential) and Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm. The Patient Service Representative will assist patients with check-in, check-out, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling.

Requirements

• 1-4 Years Experience in Medical Office Setting or Hospital is highly preferred
• Experience with Insurance Authorizations and Verification
• Ability to Handle Heavy Patient Volume
• Strong Customer Service, Communication and Computer Skills
• Ability to Multi-Task
• Medical Terminology Knowledge

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assistant Certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Schedule Patients for Diagnostic Exams and Procedures
• Assist with Authorization and Verifications
• Checking In / Out Patients
• Answering Multiple Phone Lines
• Provide Accurate and Complete Information to Billing Office
• Insurance Verification
• Ensure Accuracy of Patient Data Entered into the System
• Process Requests and Filing of Patient Records
