The Patient Service Representative I (bilingual required) is responsible for receiving patients at the reception window, obtaining required information and documentation, updating patient information in the electronic medical records, scheduling appointments, posting charges and payments, verifying outstanding balances, accepting payments, balancing daily transactions, and ensuring the waiting area is in good order. This role also provides back-up and overflow coverage for the Front Office Telephone Operator(s). The position supports Variety Care’s commitment to providing safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care, and aims to achieve the goals of the “Triple Aim” of healthcare reform.
