About The Position

This role is responsible for providing a warm, professional welcome for every visitor, guiding them through the check-in/out process and ensuring their records are accurate and up-to-date. The Patient Service Representative will proactively manage schedules, confirm appointments, and handle medical record requests to keep the clinical team and patients in sync. They will also assist patients by verifying insurance authorizations and precertifications, and help them navigate co-payments and billing questions with transparency and empathy. Additionally, the role involves submitting daily service charges, reconciling deposits, and providing clerical support to maintain an organized and welcoming environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
