About The Position

This role is for a Patient Service Representative in a clinic setting. The primary focus is on championing the patient experience by providing a warm and professional welcome, guiding patients through check-in/out processes, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. The representative will also manage schedules, confirm appointments, handle medical record requests, assist with insurance authorizations and precertifications, and address billing questions. Additionally, the role involves submitting daily service charges, reconciling deposits, and providing essential clerical support to maintain an organized and welcoming environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm, professional welcome for every visitor, guiding them through the check-in/out process and ensuring their records are accurate and up-to-date.

  • Submit daily service charges, reconcile deposits, and provide essential clerical support.
