About The Position

Grove Dental Associates is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join their expanding Patient Service Center. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position. Initial training will be conducted Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm at the Downers Grove location for approximately 3-4 weeks. Upon successful completion of training and meeting work-from-home criteria (high-speed internet and a quiet private workspace), the position will be remote. The role involves receiving and making a high volume of calls to schedule and assist patients with their dental appointments, creating patient charts on the computer, multitasking by reviewing multiple applications simultaneously, and identifying/resolving patient issues with urgency while maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements

Must be in Central Time Zone
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer service or call center environment
The ability to identify and resolve issues with a sense of urgency while maintaining patient confidentiality
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and telephone skills establishing positive relationships
A stable employment history and history of consistent attendance
Dependability, flexibility, and commitment to providing exceptional service for patients
Must have high speed internet and a quiet private workspace to work remotely

Responsibilities

Receive/make a high volume of calls to schedule and assist patients for their next dental appointment
Create patient charts on the computer
Multitask when scheduling the patient with being able to review multiple applications at the same time on the computer
Ability to identify and resolve issues with a sense of urgency while maintaining patient confidentiality
