About The Position
Patient Service Representatives (PSRs) are crucial in Physician Offices, serving as the initial point of contact for patients, family members, and caregivers. They represent Franciscan Physician Network by providing information, direction, and support, and collaborate with providers, management, and clinical staff to coordinate patient schedules and offer administrative assistance. A key aspect of the role involves compassionately discussing copayment, prepayment, and outstanding balance responsibilities with patients. Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 year Customer Service Required
- TRAVEL IS REQUIRED

Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls; respond to inquiries, schedule appointments or direct caller to appropriate staff for assistance
- Work within an electronic medical records system
- Collect patient payments; applies payments and adjustments to patient accounts
- Balance daily encounter forms and cash drawers
- Additional daily administrative tasks based on practice specialty
