About The Position
Sentara Dedicated Care Center - Internal Medicine - Concierge Practice is now hiring a full-time Patient Service Coordinator in Norfolk, VA! This role offers weekday office hours (Monday - Friday, dayshift) and the opportunity to work in Sentara’s only internal medicine concierge practice. The practice focuses on dedicating more time to patients through smaller panel sizes. As a Patient Service Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact and an ambassador for concierge patients, building relationships with patients, physicians, and co-workers. You will utilize sales skills to retain patients, maintain superior patient-provider relationships, and provide service that ensures patients' needs are met and expectations are exceeded. The role involves continuously working to improve practice efficiency and service, balancing health-related and financial conversations to keep copays and membership fees up to date. Teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to ensure the best care for our patients.
Requirements
- HS Diploma (Required)
- Healthcare experience (Required)
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact/ambassador for concierge patients.
